Joe Henderson is a prominent comic book writer and television producer. He is best known for his work as the showrunner of the Netflix series Lucifer. In the comic book world, Henderson created the critically acclaimed series Skyward and Shadecraft, both published by Image Comics. Skyward explores a world with low gravity and was nominated for a 2019 Eisner Award for Best New Series, while Shadecraft follows a girl discovering living shadows tied to her family’s past.

Henderson’s television career includes roles as co-executive producer on White Collar, Graceland, and Almost Human, and as a consulting producer on the miniseries 11/22/63. He is currently adapting Skyward into a motion picture for Sony.
