Behext: Unique Deck Building Game with Hexes and Curses
BEHEXT, a magical combat deck-building game, revolves around your hand of spells, which serve as both your sole defense and currency. To craft your arcane arsenal, you must sacrifice cards from your hand and even your own willpower. Begin as one of six unique Battlemages, each specializing in their own magical discipline. Customize your deck to suit your strategic preferences and adapt to emerging opportunities. Curse and counter-curse your opponents into submission, but be cautious of the wild magics that may have slipped beyond your control and hex you in return.
BEHEXT stands out as an unconventional deck-builder that fosters high interactivity as you constantly deflect Hexes around the table. Choose your specialization wisely: force discards to deprive your opponents, focus on negation magic, attack their Willpower with direct damage, or embrace chaotic and potentially dangerous spells to accumulate Victory points at great risk to yourself.
Unlike traditional Resource Engine deck-builders, BEHEXT is designed to capitalize on specific player interactions. You build your deck with the intention of wielding powerful new spells for both attack and defense against opponents.
Cursed Victory: Cards worth Victory Points can be hazardous to you during gameplay. Purchase them at your own risk.
Buy on the Fly: All newly acquired cards are immediately placed into your hand, making them readily available for immediate use.
The core game features six asymetric Battlemages, starting decks (each containing 60 cards), tokens, and 86 main deck Spell cards.
Additionally, you receive four in-box Mastery Packs that unlock over time. These packs introduce four new Battlemages, tokens, 72 new cards, and new mechanics, including variable-length games, end-game bonus cards, event-style Surge and Rupture cards, and the option for a sixth player.
