Had so much fun at this event! Sharon (or was it Shannon? I'm sorry if I got that wrong!) was great and the whole staff was very accommodating. My only quip is that the event ran a little long, but that's because there were just so many giveaways as well as trivia. Not saying that those things should go away, but they certainly contribute to the event going longer than (probably) necessary.

Otherwise, awesome venue and awesome vibes, so I'll definitely be making my way back for the next one!

Event-wise, I think it went very smoothly! Shannon was a solid judge and helped organize the tournament very well. I especially liked the trivia and extra prize wheel. It was also nice to get complimentary tokens. Although I ended up losing them in a pinball machine that wasn’t operational, I still felt that was a nice gesture, and it motivated me to buy stuff from the store.

Competition-wise, I felt that there were a lot more pro players than non-pro players, and that kind of killed the mood a little. I was glad for the generally positive atmosphere that was created, but I did hear a story about someone and their cousin getting bullied into leaving. In the future, I hope that there will be more exclusivity and selectiveness in who is allowed to participate.

Venue-wise, I feel like it would’ve been more fun to play with a little more space between the tables. Obviously having less people in attendance would have fixed this problem, but if you do end up having 32 players, perhaps it would be better to think about spacing it out a little more.
