Creator - Chris Condon

Chris Condon is a celebrated comic book writer known for his gripping narratives and deep character work. He is the creator of the ongoing series That Texas Blood published by Image Comics, which he co-created with artist Jacob Phillips. The series, described as “Paris, Texas gut-punched by No Country for Old Men,” has been widely praised for its atmospheric storytelling and rich, neo-Western setting. Condon expanded this universe with the critically acclaimed spinoff, The Enfield Gang Massacre, which has been recognized as one of the best comics of 2023 by notable publications such as The Hollywood Reporter and The Comics Journal.

In addition to his work with Image Comics, Condon has written for several other major publishers, including DC, Marvel, Z2, AfterShock, and Oni Press. His versatility is further demonstrated in his recent adaptation of Barry Gifford’s Night People for Oni Press, where he collaborated with multiple artists to bring Gifford’s dark, pulpy world to life.
