Creator - Jonathan Hickman

Jonathan Hickman is a highly influential American comic book writer and artist known for his intricate storytelling and innovative approaches to mainstream and creator-owned comics. He first gained widespread recognition with his debut series The Nightly News in 2006, which was praised for its unique visual style and complex narrative. Following this, Hickman created several other critically acclaimed series for Image Comics, including The Manhattan Projects, East of West, and The Black Monday Murders, further establishing him as a master of weaving elaborate, multi-layered plots.

Hickman is also well-known for his work at Marvel Comics, where he reshaped the Fantastic Four, Avengers, and X-Men franchises. His work on Fantastic Four and the interconnected Avengers and New Avengers series led to the massive crossover event Secret Wars, which redefined the Marvel Universe. Most recently, Hickman revitalized the X-Men universe with his House of X/Powers of X miniseries, setting a new direction for the characters and earning critical acclaim. His approach often involves large-scale storytelling with deep philosophical underpinnings, making him one of the most distinctive voices in modern comics.
