Final Order Confirmation 12.8.25
Posted by Agent Myers, 6th December 2025
Agents, welcome back to the FOC radar.
This week’s 12.08.25 cutoff is stacked with horror anthologies, big superhero shake-ups, and one of the wildest political vampire books we’ve seen in a while. As always: preorders and Pull Box updates are how you tell us what to keep in orbit for you—especially with debuts and finales.
Lock these in before Sunday night so Future You isn’t stuck hunting the back issue bins of the multiverse.
Final Order Confirmations Due
Single Issues
ALIEN VS. CAPTAIN AMERICA #3
O Captain, my Captain… and also a lot of Xenomorphs.
The crossover you didn’t know you needed keeps escalating. As Captain Marvel joins Cap’s fight against Hydra’s Xenomorph forces, the hidden history between the Aliens and the Kree begins to surface. That alone would be enough of a problem—but there’s also one very dangerous, very unhinged Nick Fury out for revenge on top of it all. If you’ve been grabbing the earlier issues, this is the FOC you don’t want to miss.
THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #20
Norman’s ghosts don’t care that he’s “better” now.
Norman Osborn might be purged of his sins, but his history isn’t going anywhere. Hobgoblin is done tolerating Norman’s presence in Spider-Man’s world and wants him permanently out of the game—and, ideally, out of this life. He’s backing that plan with an entire Goblin-lane army. Spidey (and maybe a Spider-friend or two) are all that stand between Norman and a very messy ending, and they still don’t fully trust him. Goblin drama, big action, and terrible choices abound.
BLOODLAND #1
Vampires in the White House. Democracy on life support.
America’s coming apart at the seams. President Andrew Cross is clinging to an unconstitutional extended term, backed by executive orders, martial law, and a stacked Supreme Court. To keep power, he forges an alliance with an ancient cabal of European vampires—the White Cell—and turns the country into a nightmare. Army vet Heather Brooks is on a one-woman warpath to avenge her stolen, sacrificed child, while retired quarterback Son Cassidy rallies a resistance. Their collision could tilt the entire war for the soul of the nation. This is a 12-issue political horror epic by B. Clay Moore & Mack Chater, for anyone who likes their monsters literal and metaphorical.
DEPARTMENT OF TRUTH #35
Cole picks a devil—and it’s the one with the star-shaped face.
Lee Harvey Oswald has unleashed the Department’s most unhinged operatives to drag Cole back in by any means necessary. Surrounded by nightmares, conspiracies, and the weight of what he’s done, Cole chooses the devil he knows: the Star-Faced Man. This issue also features a backup by Scott Snyder & Joshua Hixson, wrapping up their Elvis-themed story. Big, trippy, late-game Dept. of Truth energy here—perfect for readers who’ve been in it since the start and folks who like horror with a theory board.
DIE: LOADED #3
Even dark lords had mothers.
Did you ever wonder if Sauron’s mom was sad? This issue dives into a world where a broken mother guards the ruins of her son’s downfall—sitting with grief, rage, and the wreckage of legacy. The question is: can anyone actually walk away from her world alive? This is one for the fantasy readers who like their stories reflective, strange, and a little bit mean.
EC CATACOMBS OF TORMENT #7
New year, new heads on the chopping block.
Happy school year! Start your semester with some fresh, depraved EC horror. This issue’s centerpiece is a gloriously messy New Year’s revelry that, as you’d expect, ends with the guillotine coming down hard. Writers Megan Fitzmartin, Sarah Gailey, and Greg Pak team with artists Eric Battle, Tom Fowler, and Sami Kivela for a set of stories that feel like classic EC with a sharp, modern edge. Heads will roll. That’s kind of the point.
EC CRUEL UNIVERSE II #6
Cold planets, bad vibes, and twisted tech.
You’ve landed on a barren alien world—cold, empty, and seemingly lifeless—except for a throbbing hum from the planetary core that’s whispering directly into your nervous system. This issue of Cruel Universe continues EC’s Eisner- and Ringo-nominated sci-fi horror with new tales of broken science and terrifying technology, from Karina M. to Greg Pak with art by Sebastian Cabrol, Fabiana Mascolo, Kelly Williams, and more. This is peak “surrender or be atomized.”
FANTASTIC FOUR #7
When the universe itself puts out a hit on Sue Storm.
A message hidden in the fabric of reality itself reveals that Sue Storm is the most wanted woman in the universe—and that makes Earth a target for invasion. To save both their family and the planet, the FF construct a brand-new spacecraft and head into the unknown, leaving their homeworld frighteningly undefended. Worse: they’re not the only ones who decoded that message, and there are forces on Earth ready to exploit it. Also: keep an eye on the junior Fantastic Four; they’re up to something.
GUNSLINGER SPAWN #50
The Spawn Universe hits the big 5-0 (again).
Four years after King Spawn kicked off the expanded Spawn line, we’re celebrating the next landmark with Gunslinger Spawn #50, part two of a multi-title crossover that will roll through King Spawn, Gunslinger Spawn, and The Scorched. An ancient force nearly as old as time itself has returned—and Spawn is squarely in its sights. Each oversized issue features two chapters, pencilled by Stephen Segovia and Carlo Barberi, with a murderers’ row of covers by Todd McFarlane, Puppeteer Lee, Scotty Young, and Mark Spears. If you’re a Spawn reader, this is a “don’t skip.”
HELLO DARKNESS #18
Baseball, but make it bloodsport.
Hey, batter batter—this anthology goes full Bloodsport meets baseball as Who takes the field again. In part one of Sam Humphries & Eleanora Carlini’s “McCabe & Cassie,” a friendly pickup game slides straight into the demonic as something nasty steps up to the plate. Then you drop into the hazy in-between with Rocky O. B. K.’s liminal horror “Sauna,” where reality and nightmare blur like steam on a mirror. If you like your horror weird, stylish, and a little mean, this is an easy add to the Pull Box.
INGLOURIOUS X-FORCE #1
Cable, broken memories, and the ugliest mission no one else will take.
Cable stumbles out of the future with a handful of clues, a ton of missing time, and the sense that an assassination is about to rewrite everything. Hovering Archangel and his former teammate Boom-Boom follow his lead into the future and into the fire—except Cable’s memory may be lying to them.
If you’ve missed the grittier, black-ops side of the X-books, this is your jump-on.
ROGUE #1
You can’t outrun the past—even if you can steal its powers.
Rogue’s got the idyllic small-town setup with Remy Lebeau—Havenhouse, love, quiet… all the things she’s never really trusted. But there are skeletons she never processed, and one of those sins is about to smash into her front door. What could be so bad it would make Rogue walk away from everything she’s built? Written by Erica Schultz, this is a character-driven solo that digs into her villainous history and asks what it really costs to move on.
ULTIMATE BLACK PANTHER #24 – FINAL ISSUE
The last stand of T’Challa vs. the Progenitors.
The epic showdown between T’Challa and the Progenitors reaches its final, world-shaking conclusion. Control of Vibranium, Wakanda, and the broader world order all hang in the balance, and the mysterious Child of Light steps into the spotlight. This issue closes out the series, so if you’ve been digging the Ultimate line, make sure this is on your radar before it blips off the FOC screen.
WICCAN: WITCHES’ ROAD #2
The beginning of the witch’s journey.
To save a gravely wounded Teddy, Wiccan cut a deal with a dark witch—and now we start to see the price. What does this witch actually want? What new chaos is waiting on the Witches’ Road? And who is the unlikely ally waiting in the wings? This limited series is Wiccan’s first solo headliner, written by Wyatt Kennedy with art by Andy Pereira, and it’s very much about redefining Billy’s place in Marvel’s magical hierarchy.
THE WITCHER: BLOODSTONE #1
Treasure hunters, dead mountains, and something that kills without a trace.
Ancient Dwarven mines are drawing thrill-seekers and fortune hunters, but rumor says a horned beast is slaughtering them—and there are no signs of a struggle. Geralt surveys the land, but the mountain itself is dangerous, and the labyrinth of Dwarven tunnels is even worse. Deep in the dark, some things are better left untouched. Written by Daniel Freedman with art by Pius Bak, this four-issue mini leans hard into cold, creeping horror in the Witcher world.
X-MEN #24
The wake of Age of Revelation gets messy.
The mutant-terrorist outfit 3K has come back online in the shadow of the Age of Revelation, but their own internal plotting might be their undoing. Expect machinations, betrayals, and some classic “X-Men vs. ideological extremists” energy as the team tries to keep yet another flavor of mutant supremacy from blowing up in everyone’s faces.
X-MEN OF APOCALYPSE #2
The beginning of the witch’s journey.
To save a gravely wounded Teddy, Wiccan cut a deal with a dark witch—and now we start to see the price. What does this witch actually want? What new chaos is waiting on the Witches’ Road? And who is the unlikely ally waiting in the wings? This limited series is Wiccan’s first solo headliner, written by Wyatt Kennedy with art by Andy Pereira, and it’s very much about redefining Billy’s place in Marvel’s magical hierarchy.

16 issues of Vertigo horror in one brick.
Flinch gathers every issue of the Eisner-nominated Vertigo anthology (1999–2001) into one chunky, complete collection. You’re getting 16 standalone horror stories that range from eerie psychological dread to grotesque black comedy, with creators like Brian Azzarello, Joe R. Lansdale, Jim Lee, Frank Quitely, and Bill Willingham rotating through. This is mature, boundary-pushing horror—perfect for fans of EC, Creepshow, and one-shot nightmares.
GODZILLA: HEIST
A perfect crime, courtesy of a kaiju distraction.
Jai is a kid who understands two things:
- Every great heist needs a distraction.
- There is no distraction like Godzilla.
When he discovers that Godzilla responds to specific energy signals he can send into the atmosphere, Jai realizes he can time his robberies to coincide with kaiju attacks. It’s genius… until hazardous people notice what he can do and “recruit” him for the biggest—and deadliest—job in the world. High-concept kaiju crime caper energy, ideal for Godzilla fans and readers who love a good “one last job” story.
MAGIK VOL. 2: SHADOWS OF RESISTANCE
Two Queens of Limbo, one very bad problem.
The continuing solo adventures of Illyana Rasputin, big sword in hand and bad ideas in her heart. When Madelyne Pryor, the Goblin Queen, asks Magik for help holding onto Limbo, you know something is seriously wrong. Whatever’s coming is big enough that it takes two Queens of Limbo to even stand a chance… and once Illyana taps into her new powers, the line between “savior” and “problem” gets real blurry. Old allies like Mirage and the order founded by her ancestors get pulled into the fight, leading to a clash between tradition, power, and Illyana’s natural tendency to set everything on fire.
