Archie Comics and Oni Press Launch Three New Series in 2026

A new era is beginning in Riverdale. Archie Comics and Oni Press are joining forces to launch three ongoing monthly comic series in fall 2026: Archie #1, Sabrina the Teenage Witch #1, and Archie in Hell #1.

Timed to celebrate the 85th anniversary of Archie Andrews’ first appearance in Pep Comics #22, this new publishing partnership will introduce bold new interpretations of Archie, Sabrina, and their friends from some of comics’ most exciting creators.

The new era begins September 2 with Archie #1 from writer Ben H. Winters and artist Fábio Moon.

Seventeen-year-old Archie Andrews has always seemed to have it all: loyal friends, football glory, and a natural ability to find himself at the center of everything. His new adventure will carry readers through Riverdale’s past, present, and future, beginning with a local film festival that turns everything upside down—and an enigmatic paradox that only Jughead Jones may be able to unravel.

Arriving October 7, just in time for Halloween, Sabrina the Teenage Witch #1 comes from writer Corinna Bechko and artist Kano.

Still adjusting to the revelation of her magical birthright, 16-year-old Sabrina Spellman must balance spells, school, friendships, and all the ordinary complications of being a teenager. When her feline familiar Salem drops a mythical trickster on her doorstep, however, Sabrina’s mortal and magical worlds threaten to collide.

The new ongoing series promises a playful blend of magic, mischief, and relatable teenage drama as Sabrina enters a spectacular new era.

Riverdale takes a terrifying turn in November with Archie in Hell #1 by Patrick Horvath and Tyler Crook—a match made in hell.

Following in the bloody footsteps of Afterlife with Archie, the new horror series reaches from Riverdale’s dark colonial past to its deceptively sunny present. An ancient cult has selected Archie as the final sacrifice needed to summon a demon lord—but its members never anticipated that real witches might stand in their way.

Unstuck from time and bound by a terrible curse, Archie is about to discover that some fates are even worse than Hell.

These three new Archie Comics series demonstrate the remarkable versatility that has kept Riverdale relevant for generations.
