This October, our Graphic Novel Club is heading deep into the woods for a perfectly timed dose of supernatural horror.
We’re gathering to discuss Wytches, the terrifying modern horror classic from writer Scott Snyder and artist Jock. After the Rooks family moves to a new town hoping for a fresh start, their daughter Sailor begins to realize that something ancient and hungry is waiting in the surrounding woods. What begins as a story about family, fear, and trauma quickly descends into something far darker. With Jock’s jagged artwork and Matt Hollingsworth’s haunting colors, Wytches transforms childhood fears and old folklore into a nightmare that feels frighteningly close to home.
